CSD sells second hand luxury through an omnichannel approach: our website, our three London retail stores, and listing items on our global marketplace partners. The retail stores act as hubs for customer and consignor interactions, are showrooms for our best products, and have back rooms that act as warehouses for some of our online orders. The retail stores are located on Marylebone Lane, in Notting Hill, and in Battersea Power Station. Each store has a unique clientele and will require a tailored approach to reach the local demographic.

Job Description: 

Consigned Sealed Delivered is looking for a meticulous and experienced Luxury Goods Quality Control Specialist to join our team and play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and authenticity of our second-hand luxury items. You will be responsible for maintaining our brand's integrity and will play a pivotal role in our consignment process. 

Responsibilities:

1. Appraisal of Luxury Items : Accurately assess and evaluate second-hand luxury goods, including but not limited to designer handbags, watches, jewelry, clothing, and accessories to verify their condition and authenticity. 

2. Quality Control : Ensure that items meet our quality standards and are in suitable condition for resale. Identify wear, damage, or defects, and provide recommendations for refurbishment or repair. 

3. Quality Assurance : Implement and enforce quality control procedures to maintain consistency and accuracy in evaluating second-hand products. 

4. Documentation : Create meticulous records of the quality control process, including product details, condition, and images that can be used for third-party authentication sites. 

5. Customer Service : Provide friendly and professional assistance to customers, addressing their concerns, resolving issues, and answering questions about products and services. 

6. Continuous Improvement : Actively participate in process improvement initiatives, suggesting enhancements to the quality control process to streamline operations and enhance efficiency. 

7. Communication : Collaborate with the purchasing team to provide feedback on product condition and value. Communicate any discrepancies, issues, or concerns promptly and clearly. 

Qualifications : 

● Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.  

● Prior experience in a similar role. 

● Strong knowledge of luxury brands and products. 

● Excellent attention to detail and the ability to assess quality accurately.

● Strong research and analytical skills. 

● Effective communication. 

● Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

● Passion for luxury fashion and a commitment to staying up to date with industry developments.
