We are a leading player in the FMCG industry, seeking a dynamic Quality Manager to lead our quality assurance and control functions at our Blackburn site. This is a critical role where you’ll ensure that our products meet customer expectations, regulatory requirements, and industry standards while driving a culture of continuous improvement.

Take full ownership of quality control and assurance across all stages of production.
Lead the implementation and maintenance of our Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO 9001, GMP, HACCP, and other standards.
Oversee day-to-day quality control operations, ensuring consistent quality from raw materials to finished goods.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reduce defects using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
Lead external audits (ISO 9001, customer audits) and manage supplier quality programs.
Investigate customer complaints and non-conformances, ensuring timely resolution and corrective actions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues and optimize production processes.
Train and develop staff on quality systems, promoting a culture of quality across the organization.
Prepare quality reports for stakeholders and manage recertification efforts for ISO 9001 and other key standards.

Degree in Food Science, Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in a Quality Manager role within FMCG or manufacturing.
Experience leading audits, managing quality teams, and driving continuous improvement.
Hands-on approach with a focus on quality improvement and efficient problem resolution.

Competitive salary of up to £55,000, depending on experience.
