Quality Assurance Officer

We are looking for a highly motivated and driven candidate to join the QA department as an integral support function to achieve our mission to help our patients. We value and encourage learning and development.
As the Quality Assurance officer you will support the QA Manager in overseeing GMP compliance, contribute to the management of QMS and ensure the maintenance of quality certifications and standards throughout the manufacturing, testing and release of the product. 

Salary: £25-35k (dependent on relevant work experience)

Assist in maintaining the Company’s Quality Management system – including drafting of new procedures to enhance the companies QMS.
· Assist in performance of internal self-inspection audits.
· Support the Company’s Quality Meetings.
· Assist in maintaining the Company’s quality certifications, e.g. Provide quality review and input to manufacturing and business activities.
· Ensure compliance with the Company’s Quality Standards.
· Report to the QA Manager daily.
· 2+ years of hands-on Quality Assurance experience desirable
· Experience in the quality sector in manufacturers of pharmaceutical products and/or APIs.

Ability to attend domestic and international technical conferences/exhibits, as required.
· In order to fulfil the role within Quality Assurance, the jobholder must develop an up-to-date knowledge of developing Quality Systems and their implementation / maintenance within the UK and EU
