About the job:nWe are looking for a highly motivated and driven candidate to join the QA department as an integral support function to achieve our mission to help our patients. We value and encourage learning and development.nAs the Quality Assurance officer you will support the QA Manager in overseeing GMP compliance, contribute to the management of QMS and ensure the maintenance of quality certifications and standards throughout the manufacturing, testing and release of the product.

Salary: £25-35k (dependent on relevant work experience)

Key responsibilities:

·

Assist in maintaining the Company’s Quality Management system – including drafting of new procedures to enhance the companies QMS.n·

Support with assessment of deviation event investigations.n·

Support closure to plan of Change Controls and CAPA actions.n·

Issue, review and approval of GMP batch manufacturing records to support certification and release.n·

Assist in performance of internal self-inspection audits.n·

Support the Company’s Quality Meetings.n·

Assist in maintaining the Company’s quality certifications, e.g. GMP, GDP, HO approvals, etc.n·

Assist in preparation for inspections from MHRA and other Competent Authoritiesn·

Provide quality review and input to manufacturing and business activities.n·

Ensure compliance with the Company’s Quality Standards.n·

Engage with the wider team and sector to gain wider knowledge of the industry, changes in legislation and

working procedures affecting the environment of the Company.n·

Report to the QA Manager daily.n·

Provide support to other functions within the Company as requested.

Key skills/ Requirements:

·

BSc in a relevant life-science subject (Biology, Chemistry or Pharmacy)n·

2+ years of hands-on Quality Assurance experience desirablen·

Hands on experience at a site holding GMP certification and licencing.n·

Experience in the quality sector in manufacturers of pharmaceutical products and/or APIs.

developing Quality Systems and their implementation / maintenance within the UK and EU

Role is primarily office based.n·

We require an on site presence due to the responsibility of the role, so the candidate needs to be comfortable with commuting near Burton on Trent to be considered.n·
