This Senior Business Development Manager roleis a 12 month maternity cover FTC. It will involve taking the lead onimplementing the ESG BD plans for the EMEA region. Additionally, youwill feed into the global ESG effort. You will work across sectorsand practice groups with a particular focus on finance, energy,infrastructure and real estate sectors. A smaller part of the rolewill involved developing the BD effort for the risk advisory group.


This is a really varied role with a big emphasis onmarketing, campaigns and events and minimal bids.

Whilst therole is a contract, the firm has a sizeable BD team and oftencontracts are extended or new permanent opportunities will arise.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning andimplementing the business development and marketing plans for the ESGand risk advisory offerings; Developing the brand and key messagingfor ESG and risk advisory; Innovation and ideas around campaigns andinitiatives; Events, communications and other marketing activities;Supporting on key clients; Playing an advisory role to partners aroundtargeting opportunities; Feeding into major firmwide projects;

You will have really solid experience gained within a majorprofessional services firm, ideally a global law firm. Experience ofworking in ESG and/or sustainability is highly desirable or at thevery least a keen interest in the area. You will be full of creativeideas and have the ability to influence and persuade.
