Skills required for the job

CNC Turner role: Operate and set CNC lathes (some have live toolings) Self-Inspection of own work using inspection equipment (PPGS, micrometers, Verniers and SPGs). Ensure total process control is maintained using in process inspection. Use engineering drawings to manufacture components to the correct quality standards. Is responsible for ensuring information related to the manufacturing process is recorded accurately, updated and maintained to reflect current process on Job boards. Is responsible for ensuring that preventative machine maintenance schedules are strictly carried out. Maintain a safe and or organized environment to work in.

Experience: PC literate Level 3 engineering qualifications or equivalent Aerospace industry experience desired but not required. Some experience working with engineering drawing and work to instructions. Knowledge of Fanuc control systems The ability to set and operate different machine tools. Commutable from: Dorchester area
