Job Purpose: Jackson Hogg are recruiting a Workstream Lead on behalf of one of our clients that is preparing for AMP8 (Apply online only)), which will be their largest ever 5-year investment programme. They are going to be investing circa £3Bn in capital projects, and need to prepare their capacity, capability, process, systems, data & people to do so. They have launched an AMP8 readiness/transformation programme; to plan & implement a range of business improvements to ensure they are ready for the ramp up. The purpose of the Workstream Lead role is to lead a grouping of improvement projects, as part of a Transformation Programme team. The Workstream leads take responsibility for the planning & delivery of each Workstream. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Define and confirm the strategy, scope, requirements, and success criteria with the Business Lead & Head of Asset Transformation for designated AMP 8 workstream.
  • Set out a plan and maintain a plan to deliver the scope of work (deadlines, priorities, dependencies & work activities) for the workstream
  • Rapidly build & sustain stakeholder relationships, with the aim to work directly with business functions and deliver change hand-in-hand with them
  • Identify & sure the right resources to deliver the scope of work on time
  • Execute delivery on time and to expectation.
  • Identify, manage & escalate risks and issues to minimise delivery risk.
  • Manage workstream budget, schedule, actions, risks, issues
  • Work in a highly collaborative and integrated way with the other Transformation Workstreams.
Experience/Skills Required:
  • Stakeholder relationship building & sustaining
  • Managing a programme team to deliver successful outcomes
  • Working at pace with ability to manage competing deadlines and work conflicts
  • Risk and issue management providing practical, grounded mitigations to meet the demanding schedule
