Senior Director / VP — Business Development (Real-World Evidence & Data Platforms)
Location: UK / Remote /
Salary: Competitive senior package (+ bonus)
A rapidly scaling real-world data and registry technology provider is seeking an accomplished commercial leader to drive growth across the global life-sciences ecosystem. You will work with pharma, biotech, CROs, hospitals, academic institutions, and advocacy organisations—positioning data-driven insights at the centre of clinical research and evidence generation.
Lead enterprise sales with pharma, clinical research organisations, healthcare systems, and academic partners.
Drive licensing agreements, renewals, expansions, and multi-year commercial contracts.
Partner closely with product, scientific, and operational teams to align customer needs with roadmap development.
Provide market intelligence on RWE trends, regulatory changes, and emerging customer needs.
Identify opportunities to scale bespoke solutions into commercial products or platform modules.
Support prospecting activities and collaborate with inside sales to expand pipeline growth.
Renewal of key accounts with long-term agreements
Stronger cross-functional alignment between Commercial, Product, and Science teams
Clearer reporting and visibility for leadership on commercial and innovation priorities
Identification of scalable growth opportunities across the product suite
Experienced business development leader in RWE, clinical data platforms, healthcare analytics, or life-sciences SaaS
Willing to travel for key client engagements
