Location: Croydon, South London

Band: 8D

Pay :

£41 – £47ph PAYE

£45ph - £51ph PAYE Inclusive of holiday pay

£49ph - £55 Umbrella

All rates are depending on skill, experience and pay type

Duties:

  • To lead on drawing together ED Quality Improvement Plans
  • To liaise with project leads to ensure robust sub plan in place
  • To arrange ED Bi-weekly Improvement Group meetings
  • To design and implement an exception reporting framework
  • To work with individual leads and ensure actions are being progressed
  • To update risk register to reflect risk management approach and mitigation
  • To identify and support establishing key protocols for support
  • To identify a set of key critical success factors against each element of improvement plan
  • To establish weekly meetings with ED leads to establish clarity and focus on improvement
  • To ensure regular updates to the ED team through attendance to existing meetings/groups.
  • Provide communication progress and story boards for engagement with wide ED team
  • Local changes to be communicated by informing at ED Huddles
  • To develop communicative tools

Essential Experience:

  • Experience working on a Band 8 Level
  • To have experience working under time pressure
  • Experience working in a Emergency Department
  • Leading a team
  • Knowledge of implementing an improvement plan
  • Experience of healthcare systems and legislation

Desirable Experience:

  • Post Graduate degree
  • Project Management Qualification
