Senior Procurement Manager- Logistics

A leading supplier of procurement solutions to a variety of sectors including, but not limited to, the health sector (care homes, NHS etc.), education and hospitality is looking for a Head of Procurement to join their team based in East Manchester (hybrid working agreement). The business is proud of delivering efficiency, quality and value to their customers.
As their Head of Procurement, you'll lead a team of 6 and be responsible for strategically aligning the purchasing function to the business objectives whilst leveraging opportunities to bring significant commercial advantage to the organisation. This is a hands-on role and will involve growing and mentoring the purchasing team, as well as working in partnership with client stakeholders.
To succeed in the role of Head of Procurement, you'll need a strong purchasing / procurement background - it is essential that much of your experience will have been gained within the food industry / market. Strong negotiation skills and being data driven are also essential. As their Head of Procurement, you'll receive a very competitive salary (please get in touch for details on this) plus good pension, 23 days holiday + BH (rising by 1 day every 2 years), annual salary review and family health insurance.
