Corporate Banking Director

You are accountable for delivering the Metro Bank brand and business model for Corporate Banking. The key focus is to create and maintain a portfolio of Deposit led Corporate Banking customers within the insurance sector. What You Will Do Develop and maintain active and influential relationships with key market professionals. Represent the Corporate Banking Team, building our brand reputation in this key market place. Ability to generate new business, creating and maintaining a portfolio of deposit led, Corporate Banking customers. You will achieve this through business development and promotion of the Metro Bank brand and products. You need to be able to build key relationships with other departments such as Customer Propositions, Treasury, Financial Crime Risk & Controls and Regional Teams. Work with Financial Crime Risk & Control and Financial Crime Policy Team to ensure we identify and manage the operational risks of my customer portfolio in line with the Bank’s standards and policies. Lead by example and set the tone as an advocate of Metro Bank and everything we stand for when dealing with customers, intermediaries and colleagues You will predominantly spend your time business developing, seeking new deposit opportunities to support Metro Bank’s business objectives. Demonstrate ability to maximise the customer relationship whilst being compliant during customer interactions with awareness of Treating Customers Fairly (TCF).
