We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Primary School Behaviour Mentor to join one of our fantastic schools in Bromley. As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a crucial role in promoting positive behaviour and supporting the emotional well-being of our primary school students. The successful candidate will work closely with the classroom teacher to provide individualised support to students with SEN and/or behavioural difficulties, helping them to achieve their full potential. Responsibilities: Provide one-on-one and group support to students with behavioural challenges. Develop and implement behaviour intervention plans in collaboration with teachers and other school staff. Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment. Build positive relationships with students, parents, and guardians. Monitor and record student progress and behaviour changes. Work closely with the school's SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) to support students with additional needs. Deliver workshops and training sessions on behaviour management strategies for staff and parents. Assist the classroom teacher with lesson planning and preparation, adapting materials to meet the needs of students with ASD.Requirements: Bachelor's degree in education, Psychology, or a related field (preferred). Proven experience working with primary school-aged children in a behavioural support role. Enhanced DBS Certificate Brilliant communication and collaborative skills Patient and empathic personality and ability to remain calm in difficult you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with special educational needs, we would love to hear from you.
