A manufacturing company who specialises in the manufacture of electronic components for high technology products are looking to recruit an experienced Quality Manager . Reporting to the Head of Quality you will act as a representative of the team with internal and external customers in all quality related matters.

The ideal candidate will have an electronics degree with relevant quality engineering experience gained within electronics manufacturing .

Duties:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process optimisation and efficiency.

Ensure any quality issues are raised with the leadership team with recommendations for improvements

Support qualification and reliability testing and report writing for new products

Lead failure investigation and corrective action for supplier and customer related failures and facilitate customer quality & reliability interactions.

Support ISO 9001 certificate accreditation, conduct audits and address findings in a timely manner.

Drive process outputs towards zero-defects in production.

Work with Engineering teams on qualification results and follow up activity

Issue and control all documents within the Manufacturing Quality system ( MQS )

Skills & Experience Required:

An Electronics degree or extensive experience in electronics manufacturing/engineering

Must have extensive experience in IC Quality or Electronics Manufacturing Quality

Must have a high level of competency in the use of spreadsheets, databases, and Word applications .

Must have a good knowledge of EHS management standards and regulatory requirements

A background in electronic engineering working through various phases of project management and understanding key stages from design conception, reliability testing, manufacturing and delivery to customer base would be a strong advantage.

An understanding of problem-solving methodology such as six-sigma Black Belt, 8D, or Global Problem Solving.

Due to location candidates must have their own transport
