We are looking for 2 Business Analysts with experience in business, process analysis and process improvement, to join our committed team based in Northampton. The successful candidate will be comfortable supporting teams, sharing ideas, and contributing to effective outcomes in a collaborative environment. The position holders will play an important part in delivering business outcomes by assessing business processes, determining requirements, providing recommendations to improve process and shaping solutions. The position will offer an opportunity to work remotely 4 days per week (subject to business requirements) Benefits £45,000 to £50,000 (dependent on experience) Car allowance of £5000 per annum 25 days’ holiday (excluding bank holidays) and 5 days of Volunteer Leave per year Opportunity for Unpaid Leave Critical Illness Cover MyStrength Wellbeing App Free online Fitness Platform, i.e. Pilates & Yoga, Mindfulness/Meditation, 24/7 support, advice, diet and Nutrition On-Site Mental Health First Aiders Employee benefits, i.e. Free eye test, up to 25% off gym membership, high street vouchers Free access to 24/7 online GP, mental health support service, Life Events Counselling, Care Concierge Service Tailored development and career opportunities Karo Health Health Cash Plan Key responsibilities: Analysis Undertaking detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities, and solutions for the business Eliciting requirements through a range of techniques and practices enabled by strong stakeholder management skills Effective Requirements Management including documenting and prioritising business, technical, functional, and non-functional requirements Solution Design Working closely with the business, Architects, and IT to determine appropriate processes, services, and software to deliver solutions to meet business needs, problems and defined future states Contribution to the planning and execution of testing along with activities required for implementation and business readiness Financial Undertake detailed analysis of costs and benefits associated with proposed solution(s). Determine best fit solution based upon cost/benefit analysis Collaborative Influence/Capability Development Contribute to the continuous improvement of Business Change capability through development of Business Analysis skills, acting as a subject matter expert in the field of Business Analysis Key requirements: Logistics experience (preferred) Detailed understanding of relevant BA tools and methodologies Stakeholder analysis experience Demonstrable experience of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) using associated tools Familiarity with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies Skilled in the production of scope and functional specification documents, gap analysis, etc Understanding of databases and system architecture Experience with Microsoft Dynamics (advantageous) Worked within a 4PL or 3PL planning environment. Use of structured methodologies such as SSADM, Prince2, UML, BPMN to enable requirements elicitation, requirements management and process modelling Excellent Stakeholder Management skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong analytical thinking and problem solving Comfortable analysing large volumes of data from a range of sources, to produce conclusions and recommendations Cost benefit analysis skills Experience in either a 3PL/4PL environment or another fast-paced industry would be advantageous Please note, applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK, as we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position.
