Role: Test Engineer - Personal Safety Team (PPE)
Position: Full-Time, Permanent
Are you an engineer with a mechanical background? BSI has a fantastic opportunity for a Test Engineer to join us at our Hemel Hempstead labs, working within our PPE testing team. Our Personal Safety Team works primarily with PPE, with three key areas - Latex, Headwear and Eyewear. You'll test a variety of products, from condoms, to equestrian helmets to safety goggles to ensure that they conform to required safety and quality standards. You'll need to be able to operate the machinery (including the ability to resolve day to day maintenance issues) record detailed testing results and also liaise with clients to advise the outcome of their product testing.

Previous experience as a test engineer or mechanical discipline and/or have a Mechanical Engineering qualification.
Strong interpersonal skills to confidently liaise with clients, and advise on the status of work to facilitate premier customer service & on-time delivery on all work and projects.
