Data Center Facility Engineer

We are looking for an experienced engineer with a strong in water treatment to join our Park Royal Team in London. This role will be Monday to Friday and offers someone the opportunity to support our customers and drive our business forward. This is a Monday to Friday role.

Water Treatment:
Monitoring and maintaining water quality in cooling towers, chillers, and other systems.
Conducting regular water sampling and analysis to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Collaborating with maintenance teams to troubleshoot and resolve water-related issues and to support in the recording
Keeping accurate records of water treatment activities and compliance reports..

Facility Infrastructure Maintenance: Ensure the seamless operation of our facility infrastructure through diligent maintenance practices.
Site Inspections & Monitoring: Conduct regular site inspections and monitor building and data centre alarms to ensure optimal performance.
Preventative Maintenance: Oversee and execute hands on preventative maintenance on site infrastructure, either directly or through vendor management, including managing the permit to work system. (Repairs & Corrective Maintenance: Perform and manage repairs and corrective maintenance on critical equipment to maintain uninterrupted service.
Planned Maintenance: Prepare and execute planned maintenance activities to ensure the reliability of our infrastructure.
Maintain comprehensive site logs and data records, including MOPs (Method of Procedure) and scripts.
Work Requests & Installations: Complete basic work requests and circuit installations efficiently.
Infrastructure Projects: Participate actively in ongoing infrastructure projects to enhance our facilities.
Works Projects: Execute works projects to improve site functionality.

Educational Background: ONC/BTEC/NVQ or equivalent qualification in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
Experience: water treatment processes, preferably in a data center or industrial setting.
Personal Attributes: Self-motivated, flexible, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
