Responsibilities:

  • Collect and analyse open-source intelligence (OSINT) from diverse public sources, including news articles, social media posts, and public records.
  • Produce intelligence reports, briefings, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct in-depth, multi-source research and analysis on designated topics or areas of interest.
  • Utilise in-house and premium analytical tools to interrogate structured and unstructured data, extracting meaningful, actionable insights.
  • Perform corporate due diligence to assess risks, opportunities, liabilities, and the overall viability of potential business ventures or partnerships.
  • Evaluate regulatory landscapes across different jurisdictions to identify compliance requirements and market implications.
  • Conduct network analysis to detect market abuse or to support marketing and strategic initiatives.
  • Assess and interpret online articles and data to understand their impact on the company's reputation and customer perception.

Requirements:

  • Analytical Proficiency: Demonstrable analytical and critical thinking skills. An ability to draw coherent conclusions from multiple sources of information.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in the use of OSINT tools; please highlight any public records aggregators, network analysis, or other relevant tools in your application.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills for creating clear, concise, and impactful intelligence products.
  • Research Skills: Advanced research skills, with the ability to conduct thorough multi-source investigations and maintain attention to detail in high-volume information environments.
  • Due Diligence & Risk Assessment: Experience in conducting corporate due diligence to assess risks, opportunities, and liabilities of potential business ventures or partnerships.
  • Demonstrate, describe, or provide a link to an OSINT project you have completed.
  • Financial expertise: Interest/knowledge in trading and financial markets.
  • Coding/Scripting: Familiarity with Python and/or any open source data science libraries. Contribution to open source tooling.
  • Regulatory & Compliance Awareness: Familiarity with financial regulations and regulatory landscapes across different jurisdictions, particularly in relation to corporate due diligence.
