Ryder Reid Legal is seeking a dynamic Competitive Intelligence Analyst to join our growing, global law firm client to support their business development initiatives. In this role, you will leverage your deep research expertise and business acumen to identify opportunities and competitive advantages across all practice areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct in-depth research and analysis on companies, industries, markets, and competitors.
  2. Utilise a variety of research tools including Bloomberg, Capital IQ, FactSet, and more.
  3. Provide clear, organised research assistance to Business Development and attorneys.
  4. Stay current on critical news developments affecting the legal and other industries.
  5. Maintain metrics on completed work for monthly and annual reports.
  6. Assist in marketing the CI Group's services within the firm.

Qualifications:

  1. Degree in library science, information studies, MBA, or law degree preferred.
  2. Minimum of 3 years of recent research experience in a global law firm.
  3. Strong analytical skills and understanding of the legal industry.
  4. Proficiency in legal and business research resources.
  5. Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills.
  6. Knowledge of financial reporting principles and M&A transactions.
