In this role, you will provide essential administration support for existing contracts, ensuring regulatory compliance and efficiency in all our external wall insulation projects.
Conduct assessments of existing properties to determine suitability for retrofitting external wall insulation
Coordinate with subcontractors and contractors to schedule and oversee retrofitting projects
Ensure compliance with public procurement processes and regulatory standards
Maintain accurate documentation and records related to assessments and retrofit projects
Monitor project progress and report on key milestones to stakeholders
Provide technical support to sales and installation teams as needed
Liaise with surveyors, energy assessors, and funding partners to facilitate project completion
Assist with the preparation and submission of documentation via CRM and other software systems
Handle customer inquiries related to retrofit projects and provide relevant information
Uphold stakeholder responsibilities and ensure regulatory/accreditation requirements are met
Collaborate with internal teams to optimize efficiency and quality of retrofitting operations
Assist with HSE documentation and compliance requirements for retrofit projects
Support Directors with administrative tasks and workload management related to retrofit projects.
A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field such as Construction Management, Building Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline. Specialized courses or certifications in energy efficiency, building regulations, or retrofitting techniques may also be advantageous.
Ideally, candidates should have at least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry, particularly in external wall insulation or retrofit projects.
Experience in conducting property assessments, coordinating retrofit projects, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards is highly desirable.
Familiarity with relevant software systems for project management, documentation, and reporting may be necessary.
# Strong technical understanding of construction methods, building materials, and retrofitting techniques, especially related to external wall insulation.
Knowledge of energy efficiency principles, building regulations, and standards relevant to retrofit projects.
Proficiency in using tools and equipment for property assessments and retrofit installations.
# Excellent organisational skills to manage documentation, workload, and project timelines effectively.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records and documentation related to assessments and retrofit projects.
Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders, including subcontractors, suppliers, surveyors, and funding partners.
# Regulatory Compliance and Health & Safety:

Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements, standards, and accreditation schemes related to retrofit projects, such as ECO (Energy Company Obligation), PAS standards, and building codes.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including sales, installation, and management, to achieve project goals and deliver excellent customer service.
Leadership skills to supervise and coordinate subcontractors, contractors, and onsite teams during retrofit projects.
Full UK clean driving licence is essential.
