We are partnered with a Global Asset Manager who are looking to make a key hire within their Global Transformation office. This Lead Change manager will interface with senior BU Leaders (and direct reports) primarily within Investments but will also include leaders of other BUs, to provide dedicated consulting support for a Fixed Income strategic transformation. The incumbent is accountable to building deep understanding of business units, their strategies, and functions, as well as establishing and implementing change management plans to support this complex business transformation.

Responsibilities:

  • The incumbent will serve as a primary consultant to senior business partners, primarily within Investments but will also include business units across the firm with a heavy emphasis on change communications.
  • Partner with colleagues within the Transformation Office and across the firm to develop and implement change management and communications strategies.
  • Build and implement change management strategies to support business objectives to include communications plans and tactics, training plans and materials, etc.
  • Own and drive communications planning and messaging for change initiatives to include long term communications plans based on audiences, talking points, FAQs, internal web sites, Townhalls, e-mail newsletters, etc.
  • Build communications to help employees understand what the change is, how it impacts them, what to expect and what they need to do differently.
  • Partner with internal colleagues to develop and implement training programs, resources, and artifacts.
  • The incumbent is a recognized subject matter expert in organizational change management, and leads change management strategies, planning, and implementation in partnership with engaged change sponsors, program managers, leadership teams, and other key stakeholder groups.
  • Utilize proven organizational change management techniques and methodologies.
  • Understand business strategies, define change sponsor’s vision for change, identify gaps between current and future organizational states, anticipate and address sources of potential resistance, design reinforcement strategies to ensure long-term success of desired organizational changes.
  • Provide counsel and when able assess organizational climate and adoption risks—actively engaged to raise visibility into risk.
  • Use expertise to translate issues and strategies into actionable plans to ensure consistency.
  • Complex documentation of change management recommendations, processes, and outcomes (Sponsor Plans, Communication Plans, Engagement Plans, Training Plans, Reinforcement Plans)

Required Experience:

  • Advanced consulting skills with proven experience in Asset Management
  • Build/maintain relationships at all levels.
  • Desire to build SME in program topics.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement integrated communications campaigns that lead employees through change.
  • Ability to leverage SharePoint and other tools as part of communications campaigns.
  • Work effectively with leaders at all levels (people manages, mid-level managers, senior managers)
  • Plan effectively and organize/pace the work of others.
  • Ability to identify and resolve conflicts (personally, and with others)
  • Facilitation skills (small meetings, large meetings, planning sessions)
  • Demonstrated success leading and coaching teams through transformational change using a structured approach (i.e., Prosci, Kotter, GE Change Acceleration Process).
