We are looking for an experienced ADAS Validation and Verification Engineer to work on an innovative automotive project located in our client's site based in Crewe. focus will be primarily on ADAS content.

The purpose of the role is to support the testing activities of reliability programs by providing a specialist product focused capability. The main deliverable is expert customer focused evaluation of the pre-series reliability vehicles together with the analysis and reporting of functional defects identified during the reliability testing process. Respond to issues raised by reliability testing stations via the Quality Whole Vehicle system ALPOS
Interpret, analyse and summarise logged traces of complex vehicle bus data to enable robust functional problem statements prior to allocating to problem owner via KPM or DISS.
By utilising your expert knowledge of customer usage profiles according to the OEMs makes/models together with relevant Engineering functional standards, specify appropriate reliability testing criteria and vehicle usage profiles to identify potential functional defects in pre-series cars which have high impact implications for warranty and customer dissatisfaction.
Ensure the standard reliability profiles adopted by the reliability testing stations cover the different operating scenarios.
Specify required special testing procedures focused to verify specific functional performance of features to Bentley customer expectations (SoPro’s).
Degree in Engineering or equivalent
Able to gather and interrogate vehicle electrical network data to identify problem root cause
Data analysis skills - ODIS, VAS, MDF viewer (data logger analysis tools) & MDA
Excellent team working and influencing skills using data.
Willingness to be flexible to meet frequently changing priorities
Strong PC skills – Excel / PowerPoint / Outlook
UK Driving Licence and own vehicle
