Role Overview

As a skilled Test Engineer at MKS INSTRUMENTS, you will collaborate with our engineering team and report to Mark, our Engineering Director. Your key responsibilities will include developing and executing test plans to validate performance against requirements, performing functional and performance testing, and identifying and tracking defects. Additionally, you will stay updated with current testing tools and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute test plans with the engineering team to validate performance against requirements.
  2. Perform functional and performance testing, and report on existing and new products.
  3. Identify and track performance and software defects to the engineering team.
  4. Stay updated with current testing tools, techniques, and methodologies.

Requirements

  1. A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or other related fields.
  2. Relevant experience in product testing and reporting.
  3. Knowledge and experience in statistical methods of data analysis.
  4. Experience with LabVIEW and Python programming is desirable.

Preferred Skills

  1. Database development experience is a plus.
  2. Experience in electronics is a plus.
