We are recruiting for an underwriting assistant to join our Crisis Management - Accident & Health, Political Violence and Terrorism & Contingency, Construction, Latent Defects team. There will be occasional travel to our London business centre so the individual within this role will need to be career driven, flexible and keen to excel their career working for one of the UK’s leading Insurance, Wealth and Retirement businesses.

Together, we'll be working towards providing a comprehensive service which aids our team of underwriters. This will include building a successful network of internal and external relationships, responding to a variety of enquiries and meeting high standards to ensure customer satisfaction. Collaborating with our Trading Underwriter team in London to deliver end-to-end policy management for large, complex corporate risks
Delivering business-important metrics alongside our management team
databases and word processing
Previous underwriting experience is not essential as full training will be provided
Experience in building and encouraging positive internal and external relationships
Previous experience in the insurance or financial industry is preferable but, again, not essential

Salary of £26,800 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
