Together, we'll be working towards providing a comprehensive policy management service which aids our team of underwriters. This will include building a successful network of internal and external relationships; responding to a variety of enquiries and meeting high standards to ensure customer satisfaction. We also encourage our teams to actively pursue opportunities to improve the efficiency of our customer service and administration processes to assist GCS in achieving its targets.
**Some of the day-to-day tasks involve**:
- Collaborating with our Underwriting Assistant team in Worthing, our Trading Underwriter team in London, and our Collections team to deliver policy management for large, complex corporate risks.
- Delivering business-important metrics alongside our management team.
- Spotting and driving opportunities for operational improvements.
- Acting on feedback from customers and sharing ideas with managers and peers.
- Taking personal responsibility for development in line with business strategy.
**Skills and experience we wish to see**:
- Proven record of delivering excellent customer outcomes.
- Experience in building and encouraging positive internal and external relationships.
- A history of personal development and growth in previous roles.
- GCSE qualifications or equivalent in English and Mathematics.
- Good knowledge of IT including spreadsheets; databases and word processing.
- Previous experience is not essential as full training will be provided. However, experience in Financial Services, Risk or similar would be advantageous.
