Ant Yapi UK | Stellar UK (AYUK) is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer specialising in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems. The successful candidate will play a key role in the implementation, and management of electrical systems for our ongoing projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the installation of electrical systems, including MV (Medium Voltage), LV (Low Voltage), and ELV (Extra Low Voltage) systems.
  • Review and oversee electrical design documentation to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
  • Ensure the successful implementation of all electrical installations, adhering to project timelines and quality standards.
  • Manage subcontractors involved in electrical installations, ensuring they meet project specifications and standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) standards.
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant UK (England and Wales) codes, standards, and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, to ensure cohesive project delivery.
  • Manage the testing and commissioning of electrical systems, ensuring they meet all necessary standards and regulations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any electrical issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on project progress, subcontractor performance, and QA/QC outcomes to the project management team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in MEP systems with a strong focus on electrical engineering.

Must-have: Extensive knowledge and experience with LV (Low Voltage) and ELV (Extra Low Voltage) systems.

Preferable: Experience with MV (Medium Voltage) systems.

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead and coordinate multiple aspects of the project simultaneously.
  • Experience in managing subcontractors and ensuring quality control in large-scale projects.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with project stakeholders.
  • Ability to work on a contract basis for the entire project duration.

Required:

  • Valid Right To Work permit in UK (England and Wales)

This will be checked during interview process. 

Working Conditions:

  • 08:00 AM to 06:00 PM, Monday to Friday (1-Hour Lunch Break)

Contract Details & Duration:

  • The position is on Fixed-term (full-time) contract for 13 months, concluding at the end of September 2025.
  • Salary - based on experience and qualifications.
  • Opportunity to work on a high-profile project with a leading engineering firm.
