With a number of exciting business wide initiatives from new product introductions and operational increases, through to expansions and new site launches, this leading pharmaceutical business is in a very exciting period of growth and transition. This specific hire is for their site in South London / North Surrey and will take full accountability for a small team and be responsible for maintenance, servicing and take a strong involvement in engineering projects. To take on this role you do not needto be an engineering veteran – it’s a two person team and therefore the key is that you can get stuck in and are willing to take on a number of the duties directly on a day to day basis. Full training will be provided in the pharmaceutical equipment and processes. The standard hours are 7am to 3pm Mon-Fri – but you need to be flexible as there will be call outs (including nights and weekends). Overtime/TOIL is available. For further information please contact Mark Bux-Ryan. Key experience: Minimum of 2 years hands on experience in a hands on engineering / maintenance setting – must be within manufacturing. Pharmaceutical and/or GMP experience would be a nice to have but is not essential Supervisory experience ideal but not essential if you have the depth of technical experience and the capability to manage Must live (or be willing to live) within one hour of the facility due to call out requirements Mechanical and electrical engineering capability would be beneficial Engineer, maintenance, service, field, site, mechanical, electrical, CQV, validation, project, team, leader, supervisor, senior, engineering, manufacturing, chemical, food, pharma, GMP
