**JOB - Sales Engineer**LOCATION - Croydon**TERM- Permanent**SALARY - £30,000 - £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience)**
We are looking for a Sales Engineer on a permanent basis in the Croydon area with experience in the Manufacturing Industry. Your main duties will include translating a customers need and wants into a product / service. This would also be well suited to a projectmanager with strong client relationship skills.**The Sales Engineer will ideally have the following attributes**:
- Qualified in a relevant Engineering / Manufacturing Degree with time served as a Sales Engineer or Project Manager.
- Experience in Sales, proposals, or project management.
- Previous experience building relationships with clients / customers in a manufacturing or engineering business.
- Strong knowledge of various mechanical and electro-mechanical products and manufacturing processes.
- Experience working within a regulated industry such as Aerospace, Defence, Medical devices or Nuclear.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills.
- Have the ability to communicate with other members of staff and management.
- Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently as well as team
**The Sales Engineer role will involve**:
- Engaging with customers and clients to understand their needs and requirements.
- Translate a clients needs / requirements into a product and service.
- Manage the process from initial enquiry through to proposal and order acceptance.
- Liaise with engineering departments to manage clients expectations of our capabilities.
