You have the opportunity to manage a new shop, make the role your own, and significantly contribute to its establishment and the recruitment of volunteers.
Duties include:

Lead Shop Setup: Take charge of setting up the new shop and ensure smooth operations.
Create a Welcoming Environment: Foster a warm, inclusive atmosphere for shoppers and staff.
Drive Sales and Donations: Work towards sales targets and maximise gift aid contributions.
Manage and Develop Team: Oversee and mentor store volunteers and the deputy manager.
Optimise Stock and Displays: Establish a stock management process, create attractive displays, and set fair pricing.
Ensure Compliance: Maintain a positive work environment and adhere to health and safety regulations.
Safeguard Assets: Protect all shop assets, manage cash, and maintain financial records.
Skills and Experience Required:

Retail Leadership: Previous experience running a retail shop, ideally in the charitable sector.
Team Management: Proven experience in managing and developing a team.
Organisational Excellence: Strong organizational skills with a knack for meeting targets.
Motivated Self-Starter: Highly motivated and proactive in taking initiative.
Tech Proficiency: Basic IT skills and computer literacy.
