Our client is a hugely successful and well established business now recruiting for an enthusiastic individual to be based in their factory at Head Office. The role is permanent and due to the business being established over 60 years ago the environment is stable and secure. There will also be opportunities for progression. **If you have a FLT that would be an advantage.**

The role of **Stores Person** is important and the main aim of the role is to ensure that all products and parts are delivered to clients on time and ensure the “flow” of parts run smoothly from the factory through to the shop-floor production lines. The Stores Person will provide support to: Customer Services, Stores, Purchasing, Production and Despatch. The role of Stores Person is varied and is a mix between manual work and admin duties. You will ideally have an up to date **FLT License**. The role is busy and some of the key duties will include:
- Support Customer Services with all requests for Spare Parts
- Entering purchase orders and parts details onto in house system
- Processing and arranging despatch of packages with external companies such as DPD extensive use of internal systems
- Moving pallets around the shop floor and lifting parts
- Ensure that the Stores and Goods Inwards are stocked and identified at all times
- Support the Despatch team to ensure all products are delivered on time
- Monitor deliveries of parts to ensure that the internal resource knows they have arrived
- Booking in all parts and updating in house system
- Ensure that PPE such as safety footwear, eye protection and company uniform is worn at all times
- Manage all incoming parts and update booking in systems
The person:
- Ability to move parts around the shop floor - happy to muck in
- Experience of working in a production role
- Fork Lift Truck License (advantage)
- Ability to use basic tools
- Computer literate
- Enjoys being part of a team environment
- Enjoy coming to work
You will be part of a friendly and fun team and will take pride in your work to ensure that the Production Lines run smoothly. This is a varied role with lots of opportunities for growth within the business The role of **Stores Person** will suit a motivated and enthusiastic individual with experience of working in a Stores/Goods Inwards environment and can work in line with the company’s Health & Safety Policies. **Salary**: £23,700.00-£24,200.00 per year
