Community Integrated Care has designed and led some of the most innovative programmes and partnerships in the social care and charitable sectors. We are looking to welcome a creative and ambitious leader to our team, who can further this vital work.

As our Head of Programme Design, you will play a central role in shaping the future direction of this work – identifying and designing impactful programmes and collaborations that further this success. You will directly report to our Director of Partnerships and Communities, oversee a talented team– including our Partnerships and Business Development Manager, and collaborate with brilliant colleagues across our directorate and wider charity.

This role supports home working. However, our team comes together at least once a week in our head office in Widnes, to support collaboration and a healthy team dynamic. We also expect our colleagues to visit our services and regions at times to be truly connected to the voice of the people we support and to ensure that our work is always informed and connected.

You will be responsible for:

  • Identifying opportunities to create impactful partnerships and programmes that add real value to our charity and the lives of the people we support.

  • Providing strongly designed project models and roadmaps to our Delivery team, who directly implement our work.
  • Managing a portfolio of relationships.
  • Analysing our work to continually improve our impact.
  • Acting as a leader and furthering our strategy.

We are looking for someone who…

  • Has previous experience in a similar role working with large commercial brands and partners designing programmes of work ideally with a social impact.

  • Can identify, design and scope a range of scalable, engaging, and resource-efficient projects across diverse themes. This work needs to be financially sustainable and achieve a real impact.
  • Is skilled at building relationships for impactful partnerships.
  • Brings commercial acumen and an entrepreneurial mindset. You will understand what influential businesses, funders and people want and need from our charity and the value we can exchange. You will understand how to find opportunities and design concepts that are commercially robust.
  • Has strong leadership and collaboration skills – working productively with others, identifying shared goals, and inspiring and motivating teams.
  • Has excellent presentation, copywriting, and research skills.
  • Can co-produce concepts and has the necessary personality, mindset and skills to engage the people we support.

Please note, if you are interested in this role, we welcome your application as soon as possible Depending on the volume of applications received, the vacancy may be closed before the expected advertising end date.
