This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced and supportive team within Cornwall Council Main duties include: Act as a professional representative for the service by delivering an excellent service to people who access or need the service. Act with integrity and respect, ensuring at all times the needs of the individuals are paramount. Work with a diverse caseload, seeking support where required to meet workload deadlines. Promote excellent standards of Social Work practice for children and families using skills in assessment/a range of intervention in order to impact change with the ability to explain and justify decisions. Assess needs, risks and options taking into account legal and County Council requirements. Report any allegation or suspicions of abuse or potential abuse of a vulnerable person to an immediate manager or supervisor. Ensure effective implementation of department policies and procedures in line with statutory responsibilities and contribute to development work as required. Work effectively with partner organisations using transparency and honesty to get positive outcomes for children and families.
