Global E&C have an opportunity for a Senior E&I Commissioning Engineer to join the team. This is a contract opportunity based in Aberdeen with occasional site visits.

As Senior E&I Commissioning Engineer your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing HSE Leadership and working with contractor & company team to deliver fully on company expectations on HSE.
  • Attending site RTC meetings and participate in risk assessments.
  • Responding to engineering site queries where clarification of design is required and liaising with engineering contractor where engineering response to SEQ's is required.
  • Providing engineering assistance to construction.
  • Review and acceptance of contractor supplied procedures and activities for installation of all Electrical & Instrument equipment.
  • Witnessing and acceptance of site acceptance tests
  • Implementing, execution and completion of all discipline work-scopes detailed within Commissioning Test Procedures.
  • Ensuring vendors are utilised fully when mobilised.

To be successful in this role, you should be able to demonstrate:

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering or equal through experience.
  • Time served relevant trade discipline or relevant NVQ/SVQ/HNC/HND.
  • Demonstrable experience within commissioning, pre-commissioning.
  • Very good knowledge of pre-commissioning and commissioning practices and workflows.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Risk Assessments (RA), Hazard and Operability Studies (HAZOPS)
  • Excellent communication skills and team-oriented personality required to interface with Construction and Operations Teams.
