Job Title: Experienced SEN Teaching Assistant

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm

Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a primary school in the Wellingborough area. The successful candidate will work in a Key Stage 2 (KS2) class that includes students with special educational needs (SEN) who may display challenging behaviour.

Provide tailored support to students with SEN, both in groups and on a one-to-one basis.
Use positive behaviour management strategies to support and guide students.
Help create a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment.
Support students with their social, emotional, and academic development.
Work collaboratively with teachers, SEN coordinators, and other staff members.
Monitor and record students’ progress and report to the class teacher and SEN coordinator.
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events as required.
Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, specifically with SEN students.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with SEN.
A relevant qualification in education or childcare is desirable but not essential.
Competitive daily rate of £85.
