Job Title: Compliance Manager (Energy)
Location: Hybrid Basingstoke/Remote
Reports to: Senior Compliance Manager

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and implementing compliance policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular compliance reviews and internal audits to ensure adherence to regulations.
- Coordinate regulatory submissions. Ensure their completeness, correctness, and timely submission.
- Prepare comprehensive compliance reports for senior management.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless compliance integration across the organisation.
- Handle day-to-day compliance queries and issues, providing timely and effective resolutions.
- Monitor and track regulatory changes and assess their implications for the business.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date compliance records and databases.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in a compliance or policy role, preferably with an energy supplier or with Ofgem.
- In-depth knowledge of energy sector policies and regulations.
- Familiarity with environmental schemes, such as the Renewables Obligation and Feed-in Tariff, would be beneficial.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Business Analyst experience would be advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively coordinate across departments.
- Ability to stay updated with regulatory changes and adapt compliance strategies accordingly.
- Proficiency in maintaining compliance records and databases.
