Clinical Deputy Manager Tredegar, South Wales Up to £21.95 per hour I am looking for an experienced, enthusiastic Clinical Deputy Home Manager to help to lead, develop and manage the nursing service at a great home in Tredegar. The home is a 24 bed specialist nursing facility for younger adults with enduring mental health and complex needs. They have qualified RMN’s and trained Occupational therapists to provide effective rehabilitation packages of care. You will support the team to drive standards and improve best practice, to ensure the delivery of excellent care for residents. This post will include:
- Helping to manage the home on a day to basis
- Playing an important part in developing and implementing evidence based individualised care packages, therapeutic interventions, and individualised activity programmes
- Leading and supervising the support and nursing teams to deliver the highest standards of person centred care using clinical governance and their own personal development
- Responsibility for Health and Safety, to ensure the safety of services users and colleagues
- Experience of working as a Nurse (RGN/RMN) with a valid NMC Pin
- Experience of working as a Deputy/Senior Nurse in a similar service
- Experience of working with adults with mental health issues
- The ability to work 18 hours per week as a Nurse on the floor
