Our Summer Internship Programme offers you the chance to gain real-world experience in your chosen discipline.
For approximately eight weeks in the summer, you’ll work in one of our hub office locations across the UK or Ireland. They’re all here to help you make the most of your experience.
You’ll also have plenty of opportunities to connect with colleagues and fellow interns from different disciplines, broadening your professional network and gaining insights from across the business.
Our Water and Environment Business Unit provides a focus for advising our clients on River Engineering and Flood Risk Management solutions including flood defence structures, weirs, gates, sluices, flood storage reservoirs, natural flood management, habitat creation, hydrometric gauging facilities and fish passes. Our integrated Water Catchment Management team comprises in excess of 400 staff based in the UK and Europe, but with reach into the Middle East, Australasia and America. The Water Catchment Management team has a diverse portfolio of projects with a key focus on flood risk management for the Environment Agency and other Local Authorities. As an Intern you have the opportunity to support us on our projects.
On track to complete a BEng or MEng in Civil Engineering or similar discipline related to the UK Water and Flood Risk Mitigation Industry in 2027.
