Ladieswear Maternity Cover 9 to 12 months Leeds

Invigorate Recruitment is working with its client a mail order fashion business in Leeds to recruit a Garment Technologist to join the current QC department working on ladieswear. Purpose of the Ladieswear Garment Technologist role To oversee the inspection of goods delivered to the business to ensure fair and consistent standards are applied in line with business priorities. Main Responsibilities: Working on multiple products (specifically Ladieswear) To spec, fit and seal styles within the product ranges. Collaborating closely with suppliers to ensure tasks are completed in line with critical path dates. Check and approve branding/labelling on each style in line with brand definitions. Assess and sign off on wash test reports. Oversee inspection of deliveries on relevant styles and agree actions on any rectification work required. Collection and analysis of returns information Understand reasons for returns and take all possible commercial actions to improve performance. Work cross functionally with internal departments to ensure smooth running of the day-to-day quality control function. The Candidate: You will hold a degree in a related field and knowledge of pattern cutting and construction

. Have impeccable time management and communication skills. Competent in Word, Excel and Outlook programmes. Organised and proactive way of working.
