Garment Technologist

Talent-UK are recruiting on behalf of their client a successful manufacturer & clothing supplier for an experienced Ladieswear Technologist.The role is offered on a full time basis for a fixed term contract of between 9-12 months with an immediate start following successful interview for the right personAbout the RoleThis role is to oversee the development of goods (specifically Ladieswear) to ensure fair and consistent standards are applied in line with business priorities.Requirements· Working on multiple products (specifically Ladieswear)· To spec, fit and seal styles within the product ranges· Working closely with suppliers to ensure tasks are completed in line with critical path dates· Check and approve branding/labelling on each style in line with brand definitions· Assess and sign off on wash test reports· Oversee inspection of deliveries on relevant styles and agree actions on any rectification work required· Collection and analysis of returns information· Understand reasons for returns and take all possible commercial actions to improve performance· Work cross functionally with internal departments to ensure smooth running of the day to day quality control functionExperienceYou will hold a degree in a related field and knowledge of pattern cutting and construction.
