Vehicle Technician / Mechanic

Experienced vehicle mechanic/technicians required for our workshop in Tradeston, Glasgow. We are looking for a qualified mechanic, skilled in diagnostics, fault finding, and a demonstrable ability to find a first-time fix.

The role:

  • Report to the Service Manager
  • Carry out all aspects of car and light vehicle maintenance
  • Perform MOT's, servicing, and repairs with the highest level of quality and efficiency

About you:

We want people who share our passion for success. You will be expected to take pride in your workmanship, treating the maintenance and reliability of our customer vehicles as if they were your own. This is a service center where the team is committed to positive growth and team success.

The ideal candidate will possess NVQ Level 3 or equivalent time served experience.

MOT Tester or willing to train.

This is an experienced role so you should have a solid mechanical background with at least 2 years in a similar workshop environment. You will be skilled in diagnostics and fault finding.

You will be expected to reach and exceed efficiency targets, with the ability to perform under pressure during busy periods & multitask.

A friendly disposition and good communication skills are also a must as this is inevitably a customer-facing role.

A valid driving license is essential.
