Summary A key role supporting Sofina Foods’ Corporate Legal team, providing expert paralegal support across complex transactions, compliance, and governance while ensuring accuracy, integrity, and efficiency in a fast-paced business environment. The Role We are seeking an experienced and detail-driven Paralegal to join our Corporate Legal team. This is a pivotal role supporting legal operations, including corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and contractual matters. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organisational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a collaborative approach. You’ll work closely with General and Senior Counsel, the Data Protection Officer, and cross-functional teams to ensure legal and compliance excellence across the business. Your Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive legal and administrative support to the Legal Department and Data Protection Officer. Assist with legal research, drafting, and reviewing contracts, agreements, and other legal documentation. Support corporate governance and compliance activities, including regulatory filings and internal policy management. Maintain and manage legal files, records, and contract management systems. Liaise with internal departments, external counsel, and regulatory bodies as required. Prepare legal reports, board and committee papers, minutes, and resolutions. Support litigation and dispute resolution by gathering evidence and preparing documentation. Monitor legal developments and ensure timely updates on regulatory changes. The Ideal Candidate Law degree or recognised paralegal qualification (CILEX, NALP, or equivalent). Previous experience in a paralegal or legal support role, ideally within a corporate or in-house environment. Strong organisational and time management skills with excellent attention to detail. Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to handle multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure. Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with legal document management systems. High levels of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information. Knowledge of the food or manufacturing industry would be an advantage. Why Sofina Foods?
