The Head of Facilities Management will oversee all aspects of facilities management within the justice sector, ensuring that our services meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. This senior leadership role requires a strategic thinker with extensive experience in facilities management and a deep understanding of the unique challenges and requirements of justice facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the FM team, providing strategic direction and operational oversight.
  • Develop and implement FM strategies that align with the company's goals and the specific needs of justice facilities.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and security protocols.
  • Oversee the maintenance, repair, and improvement of facility infrastructure, including buildings, systems, and equipment.
  • Manage budgets, financial planning, and resource allocation to ensure cost-effective operations.
  • Collaborate with justice sector stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver tailored FM solutions.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure facilities are safe, secure, and well-maintained.
  • Lead sustainability initiatives to enhance the environmental performance of facilities.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence within the FM team.
  • Prepare and present reports to senior management, outlining performance, challenges, and strategic plans.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional FM certification (e.g., IFMA, BIFM) is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in facilities management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Extensive knowledge of facilities management best practices, including maintenance, security, and compliance.
  • Experience managing facilities in the justice sector or other high-security environments is highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement effective FM strategies.
  • Excellent financial management and budgetary skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and manage complex projects.
  • Proficiency in FM software and MS Office Suite.
