Head of AI - Biotech Innovation Leader

The Role:
As the Head of AI, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our AI strategy, leveraging advanced machine learning and data science techniques to tackle some of the most challenging problems in biotechnology. You will lead a team of highly skilled AI/CV researchers and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive AI strategy aligned with our company's mission and objectives.
Decide on a tech stack for us to use moving forward.
Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of AI professionals to achieve exceptional results.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including biologists, chemists, and engineers to integrate AI solutions into our biotech projects.
Drive the development of AI models and algorithms to enhance our research and product development.
Stay at the forefront of AI advancements, ensuring our solutions are state-of-the-art and impactful.
Represent the company at industry conferences, workshops, and in high-level meetings with stakeholders and partners.
Requirements:
Proven leadership experience in AI, preferably within the biotech or life sciences sector.
Strong background in machine learning, data science, and computational biology.
Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
Track record of successfully leading and delivering complex AI projects.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
PhD or equivalent experience in a relevant field is highly desirable.
