Interior design studio, renowned for creating luxurious hospitality spaces across the globe are immediately seeking an established Senior FF&E Designer for full time employment.

The successful candidate will lead the FF&E design process, collaborating closely with the wider design team and clients to create beautiful and inspiring interior spaces. This is an exciting opportunity to work on prestigious projects and contribute to the continued success of the internationally recognised firm.

Responsibilities:

– Lead the FF&E design process from concept development to installation, ensuring that designs meet the highest standards of quality, functionality, and aesthetics.

– Collaborate with the design team to develop cohesive design concepts that integrate FF&E elements seamlessly into overall design schemes.

– Source and specify furniture, lighting, finishes, and accessories that align with project requirements, client preferences, and budget constraints.

– Develop detailed FF&E schedules, specifications, and budgets, and effectively communicate these to internal teams, suppliers, and contractors.

– Manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and manufacturers to ensure timely delivery of FF&E items and resolve any issues that may arise during the procurement process.

– Oversee the installation and styling of FF&E items on-site, ensuring that the design vision is realised and client expectations are exceeded.

– Stay informed about emerging trends, materials, and technologies in the field of interior design, and incorporate innovative ideas into FF&E designs.

Requirements:

– Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.

– Minimum of 8 years of experience in FF&E design across hospitality projects.

– Strong design portfolio showcasing expertise in FF&E selection, specification, and installation.

– Proficiency in industry-standard design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.

– Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.

– Knowledge of furniture construction techniques, materials, and finishes.

– Flexibility to travel occasionally for client meetings and site visits.
