Our client, a leading B2B tech, experiential event agency based in Surrey, are now looking for an Account Director for a 12 month Maternity Cover. You will be a trusted partner to their incredible, global tech clients, combining exceptional service with creative, big-idea thinking. You'll dig deep into clients’ strategy, market, and brand to shape insight-led event experiences that push boundaries. You will have 8+ years in brand experience, events, or experiential design, ideally with global technology brands (or similar). You will also have the opportunity to travel to the USA 4-5 times a year to meet with clients and be on the ground at their ground breaking, B2B experience events Strategic & Creative Leadership Driven to deliver growth through standout, objective-focused work. A creative thinker who collaborates with strategy and design to turn opportunities into inspiring event briefs. Curious about technology and able to guide clients toward smart, future-focused solutions. Skilled in developing and executing account growth plans. Passionate about creativity and comfortable working fluidly across teams. Able to articulate their offering and expand client perception of the agency. Strong stakeholder manager who drives smart, collaborative decision-making. Communication & Presentation Excellent communicator and negotiator with experience managing multiple workstreams. Engaging presenter who enjoys pitching and leading creative development. Strong writer who adapts tone across pitches, marketing, briefs, and SOWs. Committed to clear, focused communication inside and outside the agency. Commercial & Operational Excellence Strong commercial mind-set: opportunity mining, forecasting, proposals, budgets, reconciliation. Able to shape and secure scopes with clear objectives while protecting creative space. Meticulous attention to detail with consistently polished delivery.
