Overall, social workers empower individuals to improve their lives while safeguarding their well-being. About You: Education: A degree-level education with the relevant social work qualification. Statutory Knowledge: An understanding of statutory legislation, such as the Children Act Assessment and Planning Skills: The ability to assess and review children and young people’s needs, as well as plan care packages across various cases. Case Management Experience: Experience in managing an allocated case load.
