Job Title: Graduate CAD Technician Location: Southend Rate: £150 Outside IR35 Working Hours: 08:00 to 18:00 Start Date: ASAP Contract Length: Ongoing Working Style: Office based 5 days a week Are you a recent graduate with a passion for CAD design and a keen interest in the rail industry? We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Graduate CAD Technician to join our client’s team at a leading rail subcontractor based in Southend. This is a fantastic opportunity to kick-start your career in a dynamic and supportive environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Create detailed CAD drawings and designs using AutoCAD software.
- Assist in the preparation and modification of technical drawings and plans for rail projects.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure accurate and timely delivery of project specifications.
- Maintain and organize drawing files and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and company guidelines.
- Recent graduate with a degree in CAD Design, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
- Strong technical drawing and design skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Enthusiasm for learning and professional development.
- Earn £150 per day while gaining valuable industry experience.
