The Customer Retention Specialist manages contract maintenance renewal with existing customers and explores new business opportunities in collaboration with Account Managers in our Sales Team.
With a helpful and professional telephone manner, the Customer Retention Specialist is tasked with calling existing customers to secure the contract maintenance renewal of that customer. Target driven and customer focused, they will build and maintain relationships with customers through regular contact by email and phone.
The Customer Retention Specialist will liaise with suppliers and vendors and promote new and additional products and services to customers. They are excellent communicators who are able to perform cold and warm calls using the company database (CRM). Our ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm and positivity to their role, will be adept at planning and organising, and will feel motivated by reaching their goals and seeing results.
Proactively engage with Customers before their renewal dates via phone and email
Hold anniversary calls with customers to identify business opportunities or red flag account concerns,
Work in collaboration with the Sales Team to leverage the renewal with their Sales opportunities
Promote additional products and services and enhance overall customer experience
Cold/warm calling potential Customers from the companies database to offer the renewal service
Update and maintain CRM system to ensure renewal records are correct and up to date
5 years’ experience in a sales/managing customer contracts/insurance renewal/ telesales role or similar;
Highly customer-focused, dedicated in providing an excellent customer experience;
Knowledge and previous experience using CRM applications.

You’ll join our Customer Retention team working in our office in Worthing, West Sussex (on a hybrid basis), and you will play a pivotal role in our successful team.
