Job Title : Oracle Business Systems Analyst – Supply Chain
We are looking for a Business Analyst to maintain a global, enterprise-wide viewpoint, supporting the mission and vision of the organization while acting in the best interest of both the IT department and business department. The role will encompass the major components of the full project life cycle – requirements review, analysis, design review, set-up, testing and support. This position requires a combination of in-depth functional knowledge and general technical proficiency in business applications. The analyst works closely with business application users. The analyst would provide functional direction and guidance for application solutions working with all business analysts. We are in search of a Business Systems Analyst to provide business partners with daily support of Oracle modules and 3rd party applications including Oracle EBS supply chain modules such as Order Management, Planning, Purchasing, and Manufacturing.
Assists business users in testing, application training and documentation.
Leads IT functional unit testing, integration testing.
Performs root-cause analysis.
Strives for continuous improvement of business processes and system functionality.
Participates in development of project plans as required.
Provides continuous production support and works on issues and enhancements.
Assumes a project lead role as required and works with the Strategic Consulting team to take large projects into an operational or production support mode. Participate in post-implementation review to understand formal business feedback and support continuous improvement.
Own and manage functional changes and non-strategic enhancement requests within the financial modules.
Specific Duties Pertaining to Oracle Systems:
Support activities reliant on eBusiness Tax to support Supply Chain modules
skills within the Oracle supply chain functions to extend the business and support strategic projects. Assist with the implementation and manage sustainment post-go live.
Support implementation and roll-out initiatives within the Oracle Supply Chain modules
Ability to communicate and review problem situations and solutions with the business community.
Effectively communicates business and technical knowledge.
Proactively provides advice to other professionals on business process and functionality.
Minimum of three to five years of progressively responsible experience supporting and implementing Oracle e-Business suite version R12
Has a strong understanding of the business processes around TCA (trading community architecture) – customers, suppliers.
Strong business process definition background.
