Role: Junior Helpdesk Engineer
Cantium, part of Commercial Services group are now looking for a Junior Helpdesk Engineer to join the team, providing support and taking ownership of all Help Desk duties across the group

The ideal candidate will bring a foundation in IT infrastructure, along with practical knowledge of hardware, databases, operating systems, and local area networks. Ideally will have hands-on experience with IT applications and service processes commonly used within the industry, as well as a deep understanding of Windows server environments, Microsoft cloud solutions (including Intune), storage, backup, and virtualisation architecture.
As Junior Helpdesk Engineer you will:
Respond to support requests via inbound calls, the AVA chat system, email, or in-person at the office or customer sites
Stay updated on trends and developments within the ever-evolving information technology industry
Facilitate effective communication between users and service providers, including external commercial suppliers when necessary. This involves documenting incidents, monitoring progress, and ensuring all relevant diagnostic information is provided for error resolution and incident analysis
