Global Enterprise Infrastructure Architect

London – Hybrid - (1 day onsite a week)
We are working with a genuinely fascinating global private equity organisation that spans across 16 countries and circa 14,000 employees. This new role will play a pivotal part in supporting their growth and transformation plans which include becoming serverless in 3 years As a technical SME you will lead technical conversations across global infrastructure estate, spending the majority of your time improving their Microsoft Azure and M365 environments.
As the Group Enterprise Architect, you will be responsible for applying your technical expertise in all cloud offerings (specifically Azure and Microsoft 365) to promote innovative solutions. Additionally, you will also work with the wider IT security, Applications and ITSM teams to ensure a coherent approach to security, policies and frameworks.
You will own the enterprise infrastructure architecture, covering hosting/cloud, networks, servers, platforms and devices.
What we are looking for:
- Proven experience in Microsoft Azure and Modern Workplace with a focus on implementing client solutions.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft cloud services, including Azure and Microsoft 365.
- Experience creating and implementing infrastructure policies and standards.
- Experience with identity and access management (IAM) principles and best practices.
- Strong understanding of information protection and data security.
- Experience in Azure Cloud Security, with a strong understanding of Azure security services and configurations.
- Experience dealing with large global Microsoft 365 migrations/implementations after M&A.
- Solid stakeholder management up to c-suite
